TICC offers free professional mental health services to students, faculty and, the staff at TIET, with a promise of confidentiality.
We aim to be the helping hand for students as they adjust to this new university lifestyle, cope with stress, and aid them in taking full advantage of TIET’s academic and social opportunities.
At TICC, students develop strategies to manage personal problems and handle situational crises. They develop self-awareness, resilience, and skills for lifelong learning.
We are here to address the multitude of mental health problems like depression, anxiety, and stress currently faced by the students.
TICC counsellors provide regular individual and group counselling sessions, workshops, and training to students, faculty, and staff on various topics from stress management, building self-worth, eating concerns, how to help someone in distress, and so forth.
We are ethically committed to confidentiality. Our mission is to serve as an anchor, ranging from personal problems to academic concerns, we at Thapar Institute Counselling Cell are always here to listen to you.
